How to make a complaint

You can contact us in whichever way is easiest for you:

To help us look into things quickly, please include your name, the best way to contact you, and a clear description of what went wrong and what you would like us to do.

What happens next

Complaints about debt advice or a solution

If your complaint is about the advice you were given, the suitability of a debt solution, or the conduct of the firm that advised you, please raise it directly with that trusted debt solution provider. They operate their own regulated complaints procedure. If you are not sure who that firm is, contact us and we will help you identify them.

Financial Ombudsman Service

Because we are not a regulated firm, complaints about our service do not fall within the remit of the Financial Ombudsman Service. However, if your complaint concerns the trusted debt solution provider you were connected with and you are not happy with their final response, you may be able to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service. If your complaint concerns a debt solution provider we referred you to, that provider operates its own regulated complaints procedure and will tell you about your right to refer to the Ombudsman in their final response.

Free debt advice

Free, impartial debt advice is always available from MoneyHelper, StepChange, Citizens Advice and National Debtline.
